Job summary

AIA Philippines is seeking an experienced IT Architecture Lead to define and maintain architecture designs across application, data, integration, and security, aligning with the enterprise architecture vision and business growth strategies. You will oversee delivery from design through implementation with Product Owners, Sponsors and delivery teams.

You will drive cloud strategy, advocate DevOps and CI/CD, and evaluate new technologies to keep the architecture current.

Qualifications

Minimum undergraduate degree in IT or Computer Science or related field.
Extensive experience in IT Technical Architecture or Enterprise Architecture in a multi-national company or leading management consultancy.
Deep knowledge of web applications running on multi-cloud environments, Azure as default.
Insurance or financial services industry experience preferred.
Strong relationship management and influencing skills at a senior level with diverse backgrounds.
Familiarity with TOGAF and other architecture frameworks (e.g., ARIS, Zachman).
Broad experience with technologies and patterns across cloud, data, security, and applications.
Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, DevOps and CI.

Responsibilities

Review current state architecture, analyze gaps, and define the target architecture aligning to EA vision and roadmap.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Sponsors, Program/Project/Delivery Team, Infrastructure, Data, and Security to translate requirements into architecture designs (application, data, infrastructure, security).
Formulate a leading-edge application technology roadmap including cloud and PaaS/SaaS capabilities.
Present architecture changes in Architecture Review Board and obtain timely approvals.
Support cloud application architecture and provide guidelines for DevOps and CI/CD.
Forecast and evaluate new technologies to determine suitability for current and future needs.
Oversee the program/project design and realization of architecture within programmes and projects, ensuring adherence to standards and policies.
Provide guidance to delivery teams to ensure solution designs observe defined standards.
