Job summary

Emerson Philippines is seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer to drive sourcing events, evaluate supplier proposals, and ensure uninterrupted supply for manufacturing operations. You will manage eSourcing activities, validate parts and BOMs, maintain ERP data, and analyze spend to deliver cost-effective outcomes.

You have a strong background in Industrial Engineering or related fields, with 3.5+ years in procurement or supply chain roles, and a solid grasp of ERP/MRP/SRM systems, RoHS/REACH

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and/or experience in procurement.
• Minimum 3.5 years of relevant procurement/supply chain experience in manufacturing or shared services.
• Strong knowledge of procurement concepts, processes and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with RoHS/REACH or similar environmental standards.
• Basic knowledge of ERP/MRP/SRM systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management practices.

In this role, you will help drive on-time delivery of materials to avoid factory operation delays or line stoppages and collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, evaluate inventory levels, and take orders from within the organization. You will develop and assist the execution of eRFI’s, eRFP’s, eRFQ’s, and eAuctions, and evaluate supplier proposals and responses.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Maintain ERP and supply chain databases, update pricing/terms, and ensure data accuracy.

• Generate KPI and spend reports, perform gap/comparative analysis, and update reporting/training tools.
• Lead or support process improvement projects and implement approved solutions.
• Create and update SOPs, templates, and manuals to align with standards.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or other Engineering or Management-related courses.
• At least 3.5 years of relevant working experience in Procurement function in the manufacturing industry or supply chain role in the shared services industry.
• Knowledge of procurement functions, concepts, processes, and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with environmentallegislation and similar (RoHS, REACH, or similar standards).
• Basic knowledge of procurement systems and tools (ERP, MRP, SRM).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and project management practices.
