Job summary

Emerson in Mandaluyong, Philippines is seeking an Engineer I, Procurement to support strategic sourcing, eSourcing, contract management, and risk assessment of components. You will provide analytics support for projects and monitor key metrics while collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce costs through data-driven methods.

Role expects a degree in engineering or related field and 1–2 years in sourcing or manufacturing, with knowledge of procurement tools and ROHS/REACH regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, business tech, computer science, or supply chain field.
• 1–2 years in Sourcing or Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical/electronic commodities.
• Awareness of environmental legislations (ROHS, REACH).
• Understanding of basic procurement systems and tools (ERP, MRP, SRM).

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Apply analytical skills in generating reports and presentations.
• Manage supply chain systems and databases.
• Demonstrate and effectively apply alternate sourcing skills to source potential substitute parts to avoid supply disruption.
• Focus on improving the business operation by introducing new innovative processes or by engaging in continuous improvement of current processes or activities.
• Ensure standard operating procedures are in place and always up to date.

• Fair degree of understanding in the field of Supply Chain.
• Basic understanding of procurement systems and tools (ERP, MRP, SRM).
