Job summary

Solarvest Holdings Berhad is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the electrical design for utility-scale and C&I solar PV projects through the full EPCC cycle, combining technical depth with leadership and compliance.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate cross-functional teams, review drawings and deliverables, and develop diagrams and calculations while ensuring PEC, IEC, and interconnection requirements are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and PE/REE license preferred.
5+ years in electrical design; 3+ years in solar PV/renewable EPCC.
Experience with utility-scale and C&I rooftop solar projects (1 MWp+).
Strong knowledge of PEC, DOE/ERC regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead the production of PV electrical design drawings (DC/AC) from concept to as-built.
Act as the technical authority for DC/AC design verification and clarification.
Review and approve drawings, specs, and deliverables; manage revisions.
Develop single-line diagrams, protection studies, load flow, cable sizing.
Coordinate with PRC-licensed engineers and consultants for submissions.
