Job summary

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC seeks a Drives & Control Systems Engineer to design, develop, and support advanced motion control, power conversion, and automation systems for rugged land-based platforms.

Responsibilities include motor drives design, servo systems, control loops, embedded control algorithms, and system-level power management, with testing and qualification support throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with BLDC/PMSM motor control.
• Design, development and qualification of motion control and power electronics.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for system integration.
• Experience with CAN/Ethernet communications and embedded control loops.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate motor drives, servo systems and power electronics.
• Develop control loops (current, velocity, position) and embedded algorithms.
• Model, simulate and validate control systems; support field trials.
• Ensure EMI/EMC compliance and assist in product lifecycle activities.
