Job summary

Jacobs in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Drafter/Modeler to support engineering design solutions for Energy & Power projects, within the Power Generation team.

You will produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and other BIM platforms, review outputs for accuracy, mentor juniors, and ensure design intent is fulfilled across multidisciplinary projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Drafting Technology, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in engineering drafting and 3D modelling within infrastructure, transportation, water, buildings, or other relevant sectors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one major BIM/modelling platform (Revit, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, MicroStation, or similar).
• Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and BIM workflows.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, OpenRoads, or other BIM platforms.
• Produce accurate engineering documentation in accordance with project requirements, standards, and quality procedures.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, BIM coordinators, and project teams to ensure design intent is accurately represented.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary models and drawings, identifying and resolving clashes and design conflicts.
• Review drafting and modelling outputs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and client standards.
• Support BIM execution and digital delivery initiatives across various projects.
• Mentor junior drafters and modelers and provide technical guidance when required.
• Contribute to project delivery by meeting established schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
