Reef offers a remote full-time Senior Video Editor role working with a US-based media company focused on conservative, news-focused content. You will edit cinematic documentaries and social clips, collaborating with producers to shape narrative from script to publish.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in narrative or documentary editing, expert Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve skills, and a strong portfolio across long-form and short-form content.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience editing narrative, documentary, or long-form content.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Proven portfolio with long-form narrative work and short-form social clips.
• Strong instincts for pacing, hook structure, and emotional storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Edit cinematic long-form documentaries (10-45+ minutes) and short-form social clips.
• Own the edit from raw footage through to published asset across both formats.
• Collaborate with producers on scripts, voiceovers, and briefs.
• Meet deadlines with revisions and maintain cinematic, journalistic tone.
• Optimize content for YouTube, X, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
