A leading media production company seeks a Senior Video Editor for remote work on documentary and social content. You’ll be responsible for editing long-form and short-form video, ensuring a strong narrative structure and viewer engagement. The role requires excellent English skills and over 5 years of editing experience. Compensation ranges from $800 to $1,200 per month, with possibilities for growth based on performance. This is a full-time position requiring 60 hours per week and includes engagements with top-tier US media projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience editing narrative, documentary, or long-form content.
• Proven portfolio showcasing both long-form narrative work and short-form social clips.
• Experience with audio mixing, colour correction, and sound design.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into finished, emotionally engaging content.
• Maintain cinematic and journalistic tone across outputs.
• Deliver edits on or before deadlines with two revision rounds.

Skills

Excellent spoken and written English

Proactive communication skills

5+ years narrative/documentary editing experience

Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve

Strong instincts for pacing and emotional storytelling

Audio mixing and colour correction skills

Understanding of platform-specific requirements

Technical issue self-management
