Job summary

Gruppo EMS Inc. in Biñan, Philippines, is hiring an Equipment Engineer with hands-on experience in Die Sort equipment, EG Probers, and semiconductor testers to optimize production yields.

You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and improve the reliability of EG Probers and testers, drive MTBA/OEE improvements, and develop preventive maintenance while collaborating with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with EG Probers (EG2080, EG4090, or similar platforms).
• Experience troubleshooting FET, Spectra, and TMT testers.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor Die Sort, wafer handling, and equipment reliability.
• Proficient in RCA, Why-Why Analysis, PDCA, FTA, and DMAIC.
• Experience in MTBA, OEE, downtime analysis, and yield improvement.
• Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance, OCAP, SPC, Pareto, and trend analysis.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and data visualization.
• Experience in semiconductor Die Sort/Test is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and optimize EG Probers and testers.
• Improve equipment reliability, MTBA, OEE, yield, and downtime performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Develop preventive maintenance and critical spare-parts strategies.
• Prepare equipment performance reports and improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.
