Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Senior DevSecOps/Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate robust CI/CD pipelines and AWS-based infrastructure. You will manage Terraform IaC, container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), and collaborate across engineering, QA, and platform teams to enhance automation, monitoring, and incident response.

The role emphasizes reliability, scalability, and AI-enabled service support in a fast-paced financial technology environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in DevOps/DevSecOps or Cloud Engineering focusing on CI/CD pipelines and AWS infra.
• Comfortable using Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code and container platforms Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar) and experienced with Git-based workflows.
• Able to tackle sophisticated systems, apply sound engineering judgment, and work within Agile, multi-functional teams.
• Familiarity with cloud security practices, cost management, and governance, plus Jira/Asana/ServiceNow.
• Exposure to AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, or Snowflake; API integrations and observability tooling is a plus.
• Understanding of production support and release processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
• Support AWS environments across compute, networking, and storage.
• Operate container platforms using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Ensure systems meet security and service standards (SCF, SMCF).
• Diagnose issues and implement effective, scalable solutions.
• Improve automation across build, deployment, and operations.
• Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and platform teams.
• Reduce manual effort and improve system efficiency.
• Support incident management, including L3 investigations.
