Job summary

UST is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Security Engineer with hands-on AWS expertise, including EKS, ECS, VPC, and CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on automation, production support, and rapid adoption of new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

You will build and maintain AWS infrastructure, manage Jenkins pipelines with Groovy, script in Python or Shell, handle Docker/Kubernetes (prefer EKS), and lead security remediation, 24/7 on-call rotations, and observability tools like

Qualifications

• Advanced hands-on AWS expertise including EKS, ECS, VPC, ALB, RDS, Redis, S3, Glue, and Certificate Manager.
• Proficiency in Jenkins CI/CD with Groovy scripting.
• Strong Python or Shell scripting skills.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes operations, preferably EKS.
• Production troubleshooting with RCA and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of security vulnerability remediation and patch management.
• Experience configuring Akamai CDN.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 support rotations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure including EKS, ECS, VPC, and more.
• Develop and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines with Groovy.
• Automate deployment and operations using Python and Shell.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes workloads, with EKS preference.
• Lead security vulnerability remediation and patch lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot production issues; perform root-cause analysis.
• Configure and optimize Akamai CDN.
• Implement monitoring with CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
• Collaborate with Agile teams and adopt new tools quickly.
• Provide 24/7 production support on rotation.
