Job summary

UST seeks a Senior DevOps Security Engineer with hands-on AWS expertise, focusing on container orchestration, CI/CD, automation, and production support in a fast-paced environment.

You will build AWS infrastructure (EKS/ECS, VPC, RDS), manage Jenkins pipelines with Groovy, automate deployments with Python/Shell, and ensure security through patching and certificate management. Willingness to provide 24/7 on-call rotation is expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced hands-on AWS expertise including EKS/ECS, VPC, ALB, RDS, S3.
• Proficiency in Jenkins CI/CD with Groovy scripting.
• Strong Python or Shell scripting skills.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes operations (EKS preferred).
• Ability to perform production troubleshooting and RCA.
• Knowledge of patch management and security remediation.
• Experience configuring Akamai CDN.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, CloudWatch).
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 support rotations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure including EKS, ECS, VPC, ALB, RDS, Redis, S3, Glue, and Certificate Manager
• Develop and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines with Groovy scripting
• Automate deployment and operational workflows using Python and Shell scripting
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes workloads, with preference for EKS
• Lead security vulnerability remediation, patching, and certificate lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot L2/L3 production issues and perform RCA
• Configure and optimize Akamai CDN
• Implement monitoring/observability with CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and Splunk
• Collaborate with Agile teams and adapt to new tools
• Provide 24/7 production support on rotation or on-call basis
