Job summary

Helpware is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own our cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines. You will work with engineering teams to deploy, monitor, and secure scalable Azure-based environments and AKS clusters.

You will design IaC with Terraform, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and drive security, observability, and disaster recovery across multi-region setups, including Azure and Google Cloud migrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps with strong Azure expertise.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing large-scale Azure solutions.
• Proven production experience with AKS, including private clusters and upgrades.
• Advanced Terraform experience in production environments.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Azure certifications are a plus.
• English: B2+ or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Manage production-grade AKS clusters, including networking, node pools, autoscaling, and upgrades.
• Own Infrastructure as Code using Terraform with multi-environment deployments.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient delivery.
• Implement monitoring and observability across Kubernetes and Azure services.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, identity, and production issues.
• Apply cloud security best practices, including vulnerability scanning and centralized secrets management.
• Design multi-region high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with application teams to improve operational standards.
• Support cloud migration initiatives between Azure and Google Cloud.
