Job summary

TTEC is hiring a Senior Developer, Data Analytics to design, build, and maintain Looker-based analytics solutions in a remote role based in Metro Manila, Philippines.

You will collaborate with analytics engineers, data analysts, and stakeholders to deliver scalable data models, dashboards, and reports, while upholding governance and security practices and supporting Looker deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/IT or related field.
• 2-4 years experience in BI/analytics or reporting.
• 2+ years Looker development (LookML) and dashboard creation.
• Strong SQL skills for data querying and validation.
• Experience with Git version control and code reviews.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (BigQuery/Snowflake/Redshift).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Looker models, views, dimensions, measures, and Explores.
• Create and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business users.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Support deployments and Git-based development processes (PRs and reviews).
• Troubleshoot and optimize Looker models, dashboards, and queries.
• Work with data engineers to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with data governance and security practices within Looker.
• Utilize SQL to analyze data and validate reporting logic.
• Support integration of Looker with BigQuery, Snowflake, and Redshift.
• Document development best practices.

What You’ll Do

The Senior Developer, Data Analytics will design, develop, and maintain Looker solutions that enable business teams to access trusted, actionable data. You will collaborate with analytics engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to build scalable data models, dashboards, and reports that support decision-making across the organization. You will help maintain Looker development standards, participate in code deployments, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the BI platform.

This position reports to the Senior Manager of Data Analytics.

During a Typical Day, You’ll

• Design, develop, test, and maintain LookML models, views, dimensions, measures, and Explores.
• Create and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support business users and operational teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Support code deployments and participate in Git-based development processes, including pull requests and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Looker models, dashboards, and query performance.
• Optimize Looker content to improve usability, scalability, and performance.
• Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting solutions.
• Assist with implementing data governance standards, access controls, and security best practices within Looker.
• Utilize SQL to analyze data and validate reporting logic.
• Support integration of Looker with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, and Redshift.
• Contribute to documentation and development best practices.

What You Bring To The Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience developing BI, analytics, or reporting solutions.
• 2+ years of experience working with Looker, including LookML development and dashboard creation.
• Experience creating dimensions, measures, views, and Explores using LookML.
• Strong SQL skills with experience querying and validating data.
• Experience with Git version control, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and reporting best practices.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
