About the Role

Location: Calumpit, Bulacan

Role Type: Full-time

Department: Switchgear

Reporting to: Engineering Manager

Schedule: 5-day work week

The Senior Design Engineer conceptualizes, plans, and executes switchgear and panelboard designs that meet customer specifications, applicable industry standards, and quality requirements.

• Delivers high-quality switchgear and panelboard products by conceptualizing designs and preparing detailed drawings, layouts, schematics, and prototypes using CAD/CAM software.

• Ensures compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and customer requirements in the design and development of switchgear, panelboards, and related electrical products.

• Guides Associate and Design Engineers in developing and reviewing designs, drawings, and technical documents to ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with established standards and company procedures.

• Collaborates with Costing, Production, Quality Control, and other relevant departments to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and quality delivery of customer requirements.

• Assists the Design Supervisor in developing and improving switchgear and panelboard products through the creation of prototypes, technical drawings, and design concepts.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any course with relevant technical training in CNC software

• At least five (5) years of combined experience as a Design Engineer and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer in a similar industry

• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) Design software, G-code programming for CNC machines, and 3D printing
