Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Deal Support to drive sales velocity while ensuring compliance. You will partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Recognition to manage end-to-end deal processing for standard to medium-complexity transactions.

Required: 2–4 years in Deal Desk or related area, strong integrity, and proactive ownership. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement within a hybrid work model.

• 2–4 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Ops, Finance, Contract Mgmt, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deal Processing & Governance: manage deals per guidelines ensuring accuracy for finance and revenue recognition.
• Sales Partnership & Advisory: answer pre-signature inquiries and guide sales through deal flow requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: coordinate with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Revenue teams; report insights in weekly regional meetings.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): identify high-complexity deals and escalate; participate in RCA to prevent recurrence.
• Continuous Improvement: assist in process mapping and ad-hoc projects to boost efficiency.
• Performance Management: meet or exceed SLAs through daily deliverables.
