RCBC is seeking a Database Administrator to manage RCBC Databases, ensuring integrity, security, stability and system availability, and to optimize performance in line with ITSSG, bank and BSP guidelines.

The candidate should have 3+ years of experience across at least two RDBMS (Postgres, MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL) and be proficient in installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, backups, recovery, monitoring, and patching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in 2+ of the listed RDBMS (Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with high availability configurations and database maintenance would be an asset.

Responsabilités

• Manage RCBC databases, ensuring integrity, security, stability and availability.
• Perform database administration: planning, installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, monitoring, backups and recovery.
• Ensure incidents, changes, problems and service requests are handled per SLA and escalate major incidents.
• Research and resolve database problems; assist in application problem resolution.
• Apply software patches and critical updates in a timely manner.
