Job summary

APW Tech is seeking a highly analytical Data Scientist to leverage data, statistics, and ML to solve complex problems and support strategic decisions. You will work with large datasets, build predictive models, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable recommendations.

You will translate business needs into analytical solutions, monitor models, and stay ahead of emerging data science trends and technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a data-related field.
5+ years in data science, analytics, or machine learning.
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL.
Experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
Experience with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and validate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
Develop, test, and deploy machine learning and predictive models.
Design and implement data mining processes and statistical analyses.
Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with business, product, engineering, and leadership teams to define data-driven solutions.
Monitor model performance and continuously improve algorithms and analytics processes.
Translate business requirements into analytical frameworks and technical solutions.
Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in data science, AI, and analytics.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
