Job summary

GoTyme is hiring a Data Science Senior Analyst to turn insights into action across the bank's value chain. You will analyze diverse data sources, build and maintain predictive models, and support marketing, credit, and fraud analytics.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams, explore new data sources, and apply machine learning techniques to improve strategies, monitoring, and performance. This is a hands-on, data-driven role based in Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, data science, economics, engineering or equivalent quantitative discipline.
• 3 to 7 years of related work experience is required.
• Relevant experience or diplomas, certificates or completed training courses in marketing analytics, credit risk management, data science.
• Experience applying data science techniques, developing and implementing advanced and/or machine learning models within an e-commerce or banking environment; proficiency in regression, trees, SVMs, neural nets, clustering, PCA, boosting.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, R, SAS, Python and scripting to handle large datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to set up, run, and evaluate tests (A/B, DoE) to turn insights into action.
• Proficient in data visualization with Databricks, PowerBI or Tableau or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies across bank services.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Set up test-and-learn programs to optimize marketing, acquisitions, customer management, and fraud strategies.
• Identify and onboard new data sources to support strategy development.
• Monitor performance of programs and recalibrate models and rules for accuracy.
