Job summary

GoTyme is seeking a Data Science Senior Analyst to turn insights into action across the bank's value chain—deposits, savings, lending, and investments. The role focuses on leveraging structured and unstructured data, integrating internal and external sources, and delivering data-driven strategies to improve marketing, credit, and fraud analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, data science, economics, engineering or equivalent quantitative discipline
• 3 to 7 years of related work experience
• Diplomas/certifications in marketing analytics, credit risk management, data science
• Experience applying data science techniques and ML models in e-commerce or banking; proficiency in SQL, R, SAS, Python
• Hands-on with large datasets using SQL, R, SAS, Python and scripting
• Experience with data visualization tools (Databricks, PowerBI, Tableau)
• Strong analytical problem-solving and storytelling to drive decisions

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies across critical bank services (shop, move, save, invest, lend, customer service, fraud prevention)
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis
• Set up and run test-and-learn programs to optimize marketing, acquisitions, customer management, and fraud strategies
• Identify and onboard new data sources (on-us, off-us, bureau, consortium, device, alternative, psychometric) for strategy development
• Continuously monitor the performance of bank programs, updates, and recalibrations to maintain model accuracy
• Design, develop and maintain internal predictive models; oversee externally-sourced models
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes
• Stay updated with AI/ML developments and experiment with new tools and methodologies
