Job summary

GoTyme Bank is seeking a Data Science Senior Analyst to turn insights into action across the bank's value chain, including deposits, lending, and investments. You will identify and integrate data sources—structured and unstructured—to build best-in-class models and strategies, covering marketing, credit, and fraud analytics.

The role emphasizes test-and-learn programs, model maintenance, and collaboration with stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, data science, economics, engineering or equivalent quantitative discipline.
• 3 to 7 years of related work experience is required.
• Experience with data science techniques and ML models in e-commerce or banking environments.
• Proficient in SQL, R, SAS, Python with scripting for large datasets.
• Experience with A/B testing and data visualization (Databricks, PowerBI or Tableau).
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies across bank services.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations from data analyses.
• Set up and run test-and-learn programs to optimize marketing, acquisitions, management and fraud strategies.
• Onboard new data sources to support strategy development.
• Monitor performance of programs and recalibrate models and rules as needed.
• Design, develop and maintain internal predictive models and oversee external models.
