Job summary

FactSet is seeking a senior ML/AI leader in Manila to design, deploy, and scale LLM and AI solutions within a cloud-based data platform. You will mentor a team of about 10 engineers, drive architecture decisions, and champion best practices across NLP/NLU workflows.

The role emphasizes Python, ETL pipelines, and using frameworks like Hugging Face, LangChain, and LangGraph in a modern API/microservices environment.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of industry experience with 3+ in senior or lead roles delivering ML/AI solutions in a cloud environment.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Mastery of Python to build ETL pipelines, OOP patterns, code optimization, testing, and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Design, fine-tune, and deploy small and open-source LLMs and AI models.
• lead prompt engineering and advanced NLP/NLU workflows.
• Guide adoption of modern AI/ML frameworks and architect reusable pipelines in Python.
• Drive systems architecture in Python with API and microservices design.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor a 10-member development team.
• Provide production support, incident resolution, and troubleshooting.
• Enforce code quality through reviews and coding standards.
