Job summary

Jobtailor in Manila is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to develop scalable data platforms for loans and credit products. You will design data models, build ETL pipelines, and implement APIs to improve data integration and reporting.

You will work with SQL, Python, and cloud services (Azure/AWS), develop dashboards in Power BI or Qlik, and ensure robust data solutions across data warehouse, data lake, and data marts environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years in Financial Services / FinTech focusing on loans/credit products.
• Bachelor’s Degree in technology/related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ Years of SQL and/or Python experience.
• Strong knowledge of data concepts and RDMS like MS SQL Server, Oracle.
• BI and Data Warehousing concepts and techniques.
• Experience with REST or SOAP APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is desirable.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Qlik is an advantage.
• Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Glue, ADF).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute database queries and conduct data analyses.
• Create scripts to analyze and modify data, import/export scripts and execute stored procedures.
• Model data by writing SQL queries/Python codes to support data integration and dashboard requirements.
• Develop data pipelines that provide fast, optimized end-to-end solutions.
• Leverage and contribute to design/building relational database schemas for analytics.
• Analyze, implement and contribute to building of APIs to improve data integration pipeline.
• Perform data preparation tasks including data cleaning, normalization, deduplication, type conversion etc.
• Integrating PBI/QLIK reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS).
• Building and Designing cloud applications using Microsoft Azure/AWS cloud technologies.
