Job summary

Satellite Office in Manila is seeking a Mid to Senior Level Data Engineer to join our Data Warehouse team. This role is hands-on, focusing on building scalable, cloud-based reporting and analytics solutions using AWS services.

You will work with a small, collaborative engineering team, own ETL/ELT pipelines, write SQL and Python, and interact with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data models and production-ready infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or similar role.
• Strong SQL skills with daily hands-on usage.
• Strong Python skills for data processing and pipeline development.
• Experience working with AWS cloud services.
• Exposure to AWS data technologies such as S3, Athena, Redshift, or Glue.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work confidently with cross-functional teams.
• Willing to work on a hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines within AWS
• Develop scalable reporting and analytics solutions using cloud-native technologies
• Work with stakeholders across multiple teams to understand reporting and data requirements
• Write clean, reliable, and maintainable SQL and Python code
• Support and improve data warehouse architecture and data models
• Assist in deploying and managing infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Contribute to technical discussions, solution design, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and pipeline failures when required
• Participate in maintaining stable and reliable production data platforms
