Job summary

ATS CONSULTING SERVICES PH INC. is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to operate, maintain, and improve data platforms running on Kubernetes across on-premise and cloud environments. You will work with DoEKS/AIoEKS deployment frameworks and drive reliability.

You will deploy via GitOps, monitor health, participate in incident response, mentor junior engineers, and advocate for security and platform standards while expanding observability and self-service tooling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years running production data workloads and platforms.
• 5+ years ETL/ELT development with Python/Java/SQL.
• Kubernetes experience including AWS-EKS/GCP-GKE.
• Strong Linux, microservices and service communication skills.
• Troubleshooting performance, resource contentions and scaling.
• Experience with logs, metrics and observability for KPIs.
• Exposure to Flink, Trino, Druid or Ray.
• Automation or scripting in Bash or Python.

Responsibilities

• Deploy releases and configuration changes through GitOps/DevOps.
• Monitor platform health using logs, metrics, and observability tools.
• Participate in incident response, RCA and 24x7 rotations.
• Improve observability, tooling, automation and self-service.
• Troubleshoot user concerns and provide resolutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
• Advocate for platform standards and security practices.
