Job summary

Datamatics in the Philippines is seeking an experienced data integration engineer to design and implement enterprise data pipelines using the Azure Data ecosystem. You will collaborate with IT teams to deliver robust data integrations in a financial services context.

The role requires strong SQL/REST API skills, CI/CD with Azure DevOps, and excellent English communication. Familiarity with ITIL and Agile will help you thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or Information Technology.
• 5 years of experience as an integration developer and/or data engineer in banking/financial services.
• Strong expertise in the Azure Data Ecosystem including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure SQL Databases.
• Experience in at least one programming language used for data integration: Python, Quarkus (Java), C#, Node.js, Golang.
• Experience in (REST) API programming in an enterprise context.
• Experience setting up development and production environments with CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for version control and deployment automation.
• Ability to collaborate with IT teams to deliver robust data integration solutions.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and Scrum/ Agile frameworks.

Job description

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or Information Technology
• 5 years of experience as an (integration) developer and/or data engineer preferably in the banking sector or financial services sector.
• Strong expertise in the Azure Data Ecosystem, including tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure SQL Databases. Experience in at least one of five programming languages that ADB uses for data integration: Python, Quarkus (Java), , C#, Node.js, Golang.
• Experience in (rest) API programming in an enterprise context.
• Experience in setting up development and production environments, including implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for version control and deployment automation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with IT teams to design and deliver robust data integration solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and experience working within Scrum/Agile frameworks.

Preferred:

• Experience with Azure Service Bus, ADB's Right Integration Pattern (RIP) and/or Quarkus framework for the development of microservices
• Experience with other public cloud providers, such as AWS and OCI
• Experience with the Oracle ecosystem
• Certificates on the Azure platform such as AZ-900 and/or DP-900 and up.
