Job summary

P\S\L Group, a global information services company serving medicine, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst. You will help build and maintain a high‑quality data ecosystem, partnering with engineering to drive data integration and analytics.

The role requires 5+ years of data experience, SQL, Python, AWS, Snowflake and PostgreSQL, plus experience with Tableau or Power BI to visualize data. You will translate business needs into data solutions and ensure data quality across sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in IT/Math/Quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years of experience working with data and supporting data operations.
• Understanding of database models and design (SQL and noSQL).
• Experience with SQL, Python and AWS, Snowflake, PostgreSQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data profiling, cleansing, wrangling and quality.
• Exposure to testing data for data marts and cloud warehouses.
• Experience with relational SQL including PostgreSQL, Snowflake and MSSQL.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.
• Advanced SQL skills with operational DBs and data warehouses.
• Bonus: ETL tools and Master Data Management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support Data Quality and data completeness by implementing SQL queries, stored procedures and functions.
• Identify problems in data assets and take corrective action within SLAs.
• Gather information from disparate systems to identify data discrepancies.
• Research and complete data requests or changes requested by business.
• Work with business to understand needs and implement changes or source new data.
• Write, execute and debug SQL queries to ensure data completeness and quality testing.

Senior Data Analyst

Position purpose

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be a key resource for creating and supporting organizational data engineering efforts. This role will work closely with the engineering teams to proactively maintain and help create a high quality data ecosystem. This role will require technical expertise to drive innovation and evolve our data integration capabilities.

What you will do:

• Support Data Quality and data completeness by implementing SQL queries, store procedures and functions
• Identify problems in data assets and take appropriate corrective action to fix within defined SLA's
• Gather information from disparate systems to identify data discrepancies
• Research and complete data requests or data changes requested by business
• Work with Business counterparts to understand their data needs and implement changes in existing system or source new data for their new data needs
• Write, execute and debug SQL queries to confirm data completeness, correctness, data transformation and data quality testing

Who you are:

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in IT/Math/Quantitative discipline
• 5+ years of experience working with data and supporting data operations
• Understanding of database models and design (both SQL and noSQL)
• Knowledge and experience working with SQL,Python and AWS , Snowflake, Postgres
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, data wrangling, data quality, standardizations, transformations etc
• Exposure to testing data for data marts, cloud data warehouses, and data integration solutions
• Experience with relational SQL, including PostgreSQL Snowflake, and MSSQL
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or powerBI
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases - both operational DBs and data warehouses
• Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
• Prior experience with ETL tools and Master Data Management concepts is a plus
