Job summary

Smartsourcing is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to lead data pipelines and BI environments. You will own SQL Server, SSIS, Snowflake, and BI platforms end to end, including migration work with an external partner.

You will balance production stability for 90 days with modernization efforts, migrating workloads to Snowflake and BI reporting from QlikView to Power BI. This on-site role aligns with Australian Eastern business hours for coordination.

Qualifications

• You will own the SQL Server, SSIS, Snowflake, and BI environments end to end.
• Experience with ETL, data migration, and BI reporting is essential.
• Strong communication to explain data issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and enhance SSIS packages and ETL jobs.
• Manage SQL Server stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Administer Snowflake and migrate workloads from SQL Server.
• Support QlikView dashboards and Power BI reports.
• Collaborate with partners and internal teams for data governance.
