Job summary

Emapta seeks an experienced Senior Data Engineer to build governed Snowflake pipelines across sales, inventory, and finance, enabling reporting-ready models and enterprise data ownership. You will shape data architecture while collaborating with global teams, in a role designed for top talent seeking balance, impact, and growth opportunities.

The position offers a Day Shift, onsite setup in Quezon City, with a permanent work-from-home arrangement and opportunities for continuous upskilling

Qualifications

3-5 years of data engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
Hands-on expertise in Snowflake architecture, security, performance optimization, and cost management.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and ELT/ETL pipeline development.
Strong knowledge of dimensional data modeling, Kimball methodology, and star-schema design.
Experience integrating data from ERP and retail systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365, POS, inventory).
Familiarity with Azure Data Factory for extracting source data into cloud data platforms.
Demonstrated capability in data reconciliation and validation frameworks.
Familiarity with Power BI and reporting-ready data models.
Excellent analytical thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain ELT pipelines ingesting data from ERP/retail sources into Snowflake.
Extend and optimize the bronze, silver, and gold medallion architecture.
Develop dimensional models using Kimball star-schema across layers.
Translate business rules into reusable gold-layer objects and measures.
Lead data reconciliation and validation testing for source-to-Snowflake data.
Administer Snowflake with RBAC, security, cost management, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with Power BI to deliver clean gold-layer datasets.
Create base measures and flags in Snowflake for downstream calculations in Power BI.
Establish engineering standards, version-control, and documentation for pipelines.
Replace ad hoc vendor processes with governed engineering practices.
Support transition of platform work from external vendors to internal ownership.
Transfer knowledge to strengthen long-term internal capabilities.
