Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data models across marketing and enterprise systems. You will work with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python to deliver reliable, high-quality ETL/ELT solutions.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Analytics, and Platform teams, shaping data architectures and governance while ensuring efficient deployment and monitoring of pipelines in a hybrid setup with on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Snowflake, dbt (Core/Cloud), SQL, and Python.
• Experience building enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud data integration solutions.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and enterprise data architecture.
• Experience with APIs, CRM, marketing automation, and digital analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps/GitHub, CI/CD, data governance, metadata, lineage, and security.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines ingesting and transforming data across systems.
• Develop high-quality ELT/ETL solutions using ADF, dbt, Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
• Build and maintain data models supporting marketing analytics and customer insights.
• Ensure data is transformed, validated, and stored with scalable patterns.
• Optimize Snowflake performance and cost-efficient processing.
• Maintain documentation, testing strategies, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Monitor production pipelines and resolve issues promptly.
