Job summary

ERNI in Metro Manila is seeking an experienced Data Integration / Data Engineer to design, develop and manage Azure-based data pipelines. You will work with business analysts to map data, implement CI/CD, and ensure data accuracy for enterprise-scale projects across MedTech, Industry, Finance, and Transportation.

The role requires 5 years in integration or data engineering, strong Azure expertise, REST API proficiency, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or information technology.
• 5 years of experience as an integration developer and/or data engineer, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Strong expertise in the Azure Data ecosystem (ADF, Data Lake, Databricks, Blob Storage, Azure SQL).
• Experience in at least one of Python, Java (Quarkus), C#, Node.js, or Golang for data integration.
• Experience in REST API programming in an enterprise context.
• Experience setting up development and production environments with CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for version control and deployment automation.
• Ability to collaborate with IT teams to deliver robust data integration solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL and Scrum/Agile frameworks; preferred: Azure Service Bus, RIP, and other cloud providers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test data pipelines to move data from diverse sources into target models and locations.
• Define data mapping and transformation rules with business analysts.
• Ensure data accuracy through testing and quality checks.
• Produce high-level and detailed technical designs and documentation for pipelines.
• Evaluate emerging solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy and automation of data delivery.
