Job summary

ERNI is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong Agile delivery experience, data analytics expertise, and data migration leadership capability. The role works closely with business users, product owners, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into actionable requirements across the project lifecycle.

The Senior BA leads data analytics, KPI reporting, and Power BI guidance, while coordinating data migration strategies and governance for the MAS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Management, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of solid experience in business analysis.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior business analysis role.
• At least 5 years of experience in banking, accounting, or financial services.
• At least 7 years of experience in designing and documenting business processes.
• At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance and testing of IT applications.
• Experience in account or sales management, government procurement processes, contract lifecycle management, or equivalent business domains.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Conversant with project management lifecycle and systems development lifecycle.
• Relevant experience with ITIL best practices.
• Experience with data migration planning, execution, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience with reporting, analytics, Power BI, KPI definition, and dashboard validation.

Responsibilities

• Requirements elicitation and business analysis, including workshops with users and stakeholders.
• Refine, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog with the Product Owner.
• Lead data analytics and reporting requirements for dashboards and KPIs.
• Coordinate data migration planning, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Support QA and testing activities with clear acceptance criteria and test scripts.
• Ensure governance, risk, and compliance considerations across projects.

Role Overview

ERNI is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong Agile delivery experience, data analytics expertise, and data migration leadership capability. The role will work closely with business users, product owners, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to define business needs, translate them into actionable requirements, and support delivery across the project lifecycle.

The Senior BA will play a key role in requirements elicitation, backlog refinement, business process definition, reporting and analytics requirements, Power BI-related guidance, quality assurance support, and data migration planning and execution. The role will also support integration initiatives within the ADB ecosystem, including preparation for MAS integration with EDRMS and digi-Knowledge Management, as well as MAS re-architecture activities planned for 2027.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Elicitation and Business Analysis

Conduct requirements elicitation workshops with business users and stakeholders.

Analyze, refine, and document business requirements, translating them into user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.

Develop and maintain project requirements in Azure DevOps, ensuring alignment with standard project artifacts.

Define business processes in consultation with business users and relevant stakeholders.

Design, document, and present potential business and system solutions to stakeholders.

Agile Delivery and Backlog Management

Work closely with the Product Owner to refine, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog.

Ensure backlog items reflect business value and are ready for delivery by the development team.

Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement within the project team.

Ensure requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria are clear, testable, and aligned with business objectives.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Management

Engage actively with product owners, business users, developers, vendors, and end users throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure alignment between business needs, technical solutions, and delivery outcomes.

Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams to resolve requirement gaps, dependencies, and delivery issues.

Maintain clear and consistent communication across stakeholders, clients, and development teams.

Data Analytics and Business Intelligence

Lead business data analysis activities to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for process improvement and decision-making.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting, dashboard, and analytics requirements.

Act as the Power BI subject matter expert within the project team, providing guidance on dashboard design, data visualization, and reporting best practices.

Develop business metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to support operational and management decision-making.

Work with technical teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting and analytics solutions

Validate analytical outputs and dashboards to ensure alignment with business requirements and objectives.

Lead and coordinate data migration activities across project workstreams, including data mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.

Collaborate with business users and technical teams to define migration strategies, data quality standards, and migration success criteria.

Support migration planning for Linked Document Systems to SharePoint starting in 2026.

Facilitate workshops to identify source-to-target data mapping requirements and resolve data-related issues.

Oversee migration testing activities, including data validation, reconciliation, and user sign-off.

Identify, track, and manage migration risks, dependencies, and issues.

Ensure data governance, compliance, and audit requirements are considered throughout migration activities.

Quality Assurance and Testing Support

Coordinate with the testing team and support users during User Acceptance Testing.

Help define acceptance criteria and ensure delivered solutions meet agreed business requirements.

Collaborate with QA teams to provide and validate test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.

Monitor, manage, and follow up on defects, issues, and bug fixes through resolution.
