The role focuses on advanced email security, platform governance, and security operations, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver future‑ready messaging services and strong risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years in enterprise messaging platforms and email security technologies (Exchange Online, Proofpoint, Defender for Office 365).
• Experience with hybrid messaging environments and cloud security controls.
• Knowledge of ISO, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on administration, configuration, policy tuning, and troubleshooting of Proofpoint and Defender for Office 365.
• Govern mailbox management, access controls, retention policies, and platform standards.
• Develop and enforce email security controls to protect against phishing, BEC, spoofing, and malware.
• Oversee email authentication, mail routing, and secure communications across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Lead email threat investigations, remediation, and root-cause analysis.
• Ensure regulatory compliance through data protection, archiving, eDiscovery, and governance controls.
