Job summary

Harmony Travel and Management Consultancy Inc. in Manila is seeking an experienced CPA to lead controllership and ensure compliance across accounting functions.

You will supervise staff, enforce internal controls, and drive process improvements using QuickBooks and advanced spreadsheets. The role requires 4+ years in accounting with at least 2 years in controllership, deep knowledge of PFRS, BIR rules, and corporate law, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in accounting controllership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Active CPA.
• In-depth knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), BIR regulations, and Philippine corporate law.
• Proficiency in accounting software (strong QuickBooks experience) and advanced Google Sheets/MS Excel skills.
• Strategic thinker with excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other department heads to enhance interdepartment workflow and support business objectives.
• Review and improve accounting processes, recommending new technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Renew permits and licenses; oversee compliance with financial regulations; ensure submission of taxes and renewals.
• Review payment requests and flag non-compliance with policies.
• Monitor disbursements to vendors and ensure proper logging in QuickBooks.
• Track supplier receipt compliance for BIR compliance.
• Oversee revenue recognition, cost allocations, and expense tracking for accuracy.
• Oversee payroll reporting and coordinate payroll disbursement with stakeholders.
• Ensure written procedures for all work functions are updated and compliant.
