Job summary

SuperStaff is seeking a Corporate Legal Counsel & Data Privacy Officer to manage legal affairs, privacy governance, and regulatory compliance. You will provide strategic advice, draft contracts, oversee labor matters, and lead privacy programs aligned with international standards.

The role requires a licensed Philippines attorney with 5+ years in corporate or labor law, plus experience in data protection and ISO/HIPAA frameworks.

Qualifications

• Licensed lawyer in the Philippines (Philippine Bar).
• 5+ years of experience in corporate and/or labor law, preferably in-house.
• Experience with ISO, HIPAA, or similar standards, certifications, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to management on corporate, regulatory, labor, and compliance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Ensure transactions comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies; identify legal risks.
• Represent the company before courts and coordinate with external counsel as needed.
• Develop, implement, and maintain data privacy and protection programs; monitor compliance.
• Lead privacy awareness, training, and communications for employees and key stakeholders.
• Serve as primary contact for regulators, data subjects, and external partners on privacy matters.
• Support audits and certifications (ISO, HIPAA, and related frameworks).
