Job summary

Stagwell is seeking a Controller to join our Finance team. The Controller will lead the accounting function within CORE Stagwell, providing monthly financial results analysis and reporting to Shared Services heads.

This role reports to the Global Controller and supports corporate initiatives. Responsibilities include month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, budgeting, SOX compliance, and coordinating audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• CPA credential required.
• 7+ years of related experience; public accounting and industry experience are a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly financial statements and close processes.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Oversee intercompany activity and corporate allocations.
• Ensure SOX compliance and coordinate internal/external audits.
• Oversee AR/AP/Billing in collaboration with Shared Services.
