Job summary

Relay Human Cloud seeks a Lead Controller to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, close, and audit support. The role requires reviewing detailed work, ensuring accuracy, and coordinating with the CFO, accounting personnel, and external auditors. On-site with fixed night shift, strong leadership and U.S.

GAAP knowledge are essential. Candidates should have 10+ years in accounting, CPA/CA/ACCA, and experience with multi-entity consolidation and external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field.
• CPA/CA/ACCA or comparable designation.
• At least 10 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience as Controller or equivalent accounting leadership role.
• Direct experience supporting a U.S. publicly traded company.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and consolidated financial statements.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany eliminations.
• Experience preparing Forms 10-Q and 10-K with external auditors.
• Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/financial-reporting systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidations.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and footnotes.
• Support audit processes with external auditors and SEC filings.
• Maintain internal controls and close procedures.
• Provide audit-ready documentation and management reporting.
• Supervise remote accounting resources and ensure timely close.
