Job summary

Capital One in the Philippines, Alabang (Muntinlupa), seeks a Sr. Manager, Compliance Advisor to lead the compliance program as a second line of defense.

You will provide SME guidance on Philippine regulatory requirements, develop policies and controls, and support business lines in managing compliance risk. The role requires 5+ years in legal/compliance at a financial institution, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence beyond the Compliance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience in legal, compliance, audit, or relevant experience at a financial institution.
• Willingness to work hybrid setting (Alabang, Muntinlupa) and mid-shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance guidance to lines of business as a subject matter expert.
• Act as second line of defense in risk management and compliance activities.
• Review and monitor controls to ensure adherence to Philippine laws and regulations.
• Travel to the U.S. when needed and engage with senior leadership as required.
