ESC Corporation in the Philippines seeks an experienced Senior Collections Officer to manage overdue repayments from business customers for an innovative Australian fintech. You’ll oversee arrears portfolios, negotiate plans, and resolve disputes, contributing to improved collections performance and customer relations.

The role requires SME collections experience, strong English, and proven negotiation and organizational skills in a busy environment. Onsite work at ESC's office in Pasig.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years' collections experience.
• SME collections experience essential.
• Confident spoken and written English.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle difficult conversations respectfully and professionally.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of the Australian regulatory environment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customers with accounts in arrears, tracking overdue repayments and following up payment commitments.
• Contact customers by telephone, email, SMS and other approved channels to collect outstanding amounts and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Issue relevant customer notices accurately and within required timeframes.
• Respond to email correspondence promptly, accurately and professionally.
• Investigate and resolve account queries and disputes, escalating matters where required.
• Maintain accurate and current records of collections activity and agreed payment arrangements.
• Build respectful customer relationships that support effective collections and retention.
• Work with sales, customer service and internal teams to resolve issues and improve collections performance.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies that improve collections performance.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Collections Officer to manage and collect overdue repayments from business customers of an innovative Australian fintech.

You will manage a portfolio of customers with accounts in arrears, negotiate payment arrangements, resolve account queries and disputes, and contribute to improvements in collections performance.

The successful candidate will bring substantial collections experience, including essential experience collecting from small and medium-sized enterprises.

Key Duties
