Job summary

YongHwa of Philippines, Inc. is seeking a CNC engineer to oversee programming, setup, and production support to ensure parts meet drawings and specs. The role involves assisting with machine setup, analyzing production issues, and maintaining CNC equipment.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background with hands-on CNC experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead and communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in CNC machining and manufacturing operations.
• Proficient in CNC programming using G-code/M-code and CAD/CAM software.
• Knowledgeable in GD&T, machining processes, cutting tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment and render overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• CNC programming- Perform program simulations before implementation
• Machine set up support- Assist operators and technicians during machine setup.
• Production support- Analyze production problems and implement corrective actions.
• Quality assurance- Ensure machined parts comply with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Equipment Maintenance Support- Assist in troubleshooting CNC equipment failures.
