Job summary

Paynamics Technologies Inc. in Makati City, Philippines, is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to lead the design and execution of cloud security solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will strengthen our security posture, ensure GDPR/HIPAA/PCI-DSS compliance, and collaborate with DevOps, Engineering, and Compliance teams. Mentorship of junior engineers and incident response leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT/CS or related field is required.
• 2+ years of cloud security/infrastructure experience, fintech experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud security solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strengthen and continuously improve cloud security posture.
• Ensure compliance with global standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• Identify and mitigate security risks across cloud services.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Engineering, and Compliance teams.
• Respond to and manage security incidents (Level 3 support).
• Mentor junior engineers and lead security initiatives.
