Job summary

Manulife seeks a Senior Cloud Platform Technical Analyst to lead the AKS-based Azure PaaS ecosystem, driving design, operation, security and modernization. You will mentor juniors while shaping cloud infrastructure strategies and collaborating with product and network teams to ensure reliable deployments.

You will implement IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance, and manage security, access, and multi-cluster operations across a hybrid on-site setup in Quezon City.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in infrastructure or platform support roles.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with AKS, Docker, or Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with CLI Tools and AKS commands.
• Strong familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools.
• Experience working with APIs and understanding software architecture.
• Good communication skills and desire to be a team leader.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and design end to end delivery of mission critical AKS ecosystem and ancillary components.
• Develop and collaborate on the build, deployment, automation, and monitoring processes to empower teams.
• Setup and maintain Azure PAAS service configurations (AKS, APIM, ASE Event Hub, Logic Apps).
• Manage Platform security & access.
• Create and maintain AKS components (Clusters, Nodes, Pods, etc).
• Collaborate in the development of infrastructure management strategy (define disc space, load balancer, traffic manager).
• Design and develop operations support processes for cloud infrastructure & Azure PAAS.
• Implement tools and processes to support quality metrics and provide visibility to stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve Kubernetes adoption.
• Work with teams to fulfill infrastructure operational needs.
• Provide support, improve, and implement Kubernetes internal components and applications on multiple clusters.
