Job summary

HRTX is seeking a Sr. Network Observability Engineer to design, implement, and support network management platforms and custom automations. You will work with Azure or GCP, SNMP, netflow, and API polling, and collaborate with network teams to document use cases and roadmaps.

This role requires 4+ years in cloud networking, strong scripting, Linux basics, and attention to detail. You will operate in a product operating model, ensuring changes meet standards and quality before production, and you

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
4+ years of experience in network monitoring, with a focus on cloud networking and infrastructure.
Deep knowledge of cloud networking concepts: VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, load balancers.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP, including cloud networking services.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
Experience with network automation, IaC, and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills; strong communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Operate in a product operating model, designing, implementing and supporting network management platforms and automations.
Process customer requirements with a service-oriented approach.
Document network management use cases and participate in roadmaps.
Ensure changes meet standards and quality before production deployment.
Follow change management processes and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
