Job summary

HRTX is seeking a Sr. Network Security Engineer to lead design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud-based network architecture. You will ensure scalability, reliability, and security across cloud networks while integrating cloud services with on-premises systems.

The role requires deep expertise in cloud networking concepts, hands-on experience with Azure or GCP, and strong scripting and IaC skills to automate and secure our cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCNP Cloud, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in network engineering, focusing on cloud networking and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, load balancers).
• Hands-on experience with Azure or GCP, including cloud networking services and features.
• Strong understanding of network security principles in cloud environments.
• Experience with network automation, IaC, and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills; ability to resolve complex cloud network issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

About the job Sr. Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will be a key member of our IT infrastructure team, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud-based network architecture.


• Leveraging your expertise in cloud networking technologies, you will ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud network infrastructure while supporting the seamless integration of cloud services with our on-premises systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, ComputerEngineering, or any related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., AWSCertified Solutions Architect, CCNP Cloud, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.


• 6+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on cloud networkingand infrastructure.
