Job summary

Corus Consulting is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement enterprise cloud solutions across public, private, and hybrid environments. You will guide technical directions and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to deliver scalable systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience, hands-on AWS/OpenStack/VMware, and strong knowledge of network security (TCP/IP, VPN, SSL, HTTP) and high-availability architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud architecture
• Strong knowledge of enterprise cloud architectures and solutions
• Hands-on experience with AWS, OpenStack and VMware
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, SSL and HTTP
• Experience with load balancers and networking technologies
• Experience designing HA, Disaster Recovery and Failover architectures
• Experience with database or application integration technologies
• Experience designing highly available, scalable and fault-tolerant systems
• Knowledge of Open Source architectures
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Professional Cloud Solutions Architect (PCSA) Certification

Responsibilities

• Design cloud architecture blueprints and solutions
• Provide technical direction throughout project delivery
• Define KPIs, monitoring, health checks and escalation procedures
• Identify architectural risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams
• Transform project learnings into architectural best practices
• Mentor and coach technical teams
