Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions, a global EPC and solar energy expert, seeks a Senior Civil & Structural Design Engineer for its Manila, Philippines operations. The role centers on leading civil/structural development for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects under EPC contracts, from tender through handover.

You will prepare design packages, define foundations for PV mounting and substations, and coordinate with electrical and construction teams to meet client requirements and applicable codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years EPC project experience in civil/structural design.
• Experience with utility-scale solar PV or energy infra preferred.
• Knowledge of international codes and standards.
• Ability to work across tender, design and construction stages.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural engineering development for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects.
• Prepare and review design packages including site layouts, grading, roads, drainage.
• Define foundation solutions for PV mounting and substations.
• Produce calculations, drawings, specs, BoQ, and estimates.
• Coordinate with electrical, procurement, construction and client teams.
• Review studies and define site-investigation and pile-testing requirements.
• Attend meetings and support site visits and project close-out.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure standards compliance.
