Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of civil road design and transport infrastructure projects from award through to Issue for Construction (IFC). The role requires coordinating across disciplines, managing budgets, schedules, and client communications to ensure safe, innovative, and compliant outcomes.

You will work within a multidisciplinary design team, applying civil/roads technical knowledge to guide the project, identify risks early, and drive successful

Qualifications

• Civil engineering background with delivery focus
• 9+ years managing civil/transport design projects in consultancy
• Experience in forecasting, payment claims and variations
• Experience in direct client management, progress meetings and submissions
• Excellent written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Own each project from award to IFC, including scope, program, resourcing, budget and submissions
• Stay across the design, explain to client, coordinate design team
• Lead client meetings and present outcomes, propose solutions
• Maintain program, flag risks/dependencies/delays early
• Ensure Quality Management Plan is followed on all deliverables
• Deliver forecasts and payment claims, manage variations and weekly performance
• Coordinate fee proposals and bring in technical inputs
