Job summary

WSP in Manila is seeking a senior civil drafting professional to shape and deliver engineering drawings for diverse projects. You will ensure CAD standards compliance, review drawings, and mentor junior drafters to uphold technical excellence.

The role requires eight years of civil drafting experience, advanced CAD skills (AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise, Civil 3D), and the ability to manage deliverables across complex projects, including coordinating with engineers and regional teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Engineering or Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Senior Technical Associate – CADD).
• At least eight years of relevant civil drafting experience.
• High-level drafting and detailing skills.
• High level CAD software proficiency: AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise (Prepares engineering drawing deliverables).
• Proficiency in Civil 3D is an advantage.
• Experience on Australian projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concise engineering drawings from sketches and design information unassisted.
• Comply with CAD Standards and Quality Systems relevant to the practice area and location.
• Undertake reviews of engineering drawings to ensure CAD compliance.
• Manage and mentor drafting staff to promote technical excellence.
• Fulfil project drafting role by planning deliverables, managing resources, and maintaining project communication.
