Job summary

Vena Group in the Philippines is seeking a civil engineering professional to assist the CBOP Manager by overseeing daily construction activities at substations, foundations, roads, and hardstands. You will coordinate with Owner’s Engineers and BOP Contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

This role involves reviewing design documents, managing NCRs and punch lists, tracking progress, and supporting handover readiness.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years in construction engineering.
• Experience in wind power projects is preferred.
• Must have signature rights for authorities’ certification.
• Concrete handling and testing experience.
• Foundation and road construction experience.
• Geotechnical knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily civil construction activities on roads, hardstands, and foundations.
• Coordinate with Owner’s Engineers and BOP Contractors on design reviews and progress.
• Review BOP design documents, site reports, and material data sheets.
• Plan with OEs and BOP Contractors for design review, procurement, HSSE, QA/QC.
• Participate in scheduled meetings and handover readiness.
• Assist in site reports and documentation.
• Review quality documents and monitor NCRs, defects, and punchlists.
• Monitor material deliveries and contractor performance.
• Perform other tasks as required.
