Job summary

Dyson is seeking a senior CFD Engineer in the Philippines to own and deliver high quality computational fluid dynamics models guiding product development in fluids, thermodynamics, and sensing technologies. You will mentor engineers, verify test methodologies, and lead the fluid/thermodynamics discipline from design through to production, ensuring timely delivery and robust engineering decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Automotive/Mechanical engineering (Master preferred).
• 5 years of experience in mechanical product analysis & development, preferably in consumer electrical appliance industry.
• Deep knowledge in fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
• Hands-on experience with CFD tools such as Fluent/OpenFOAM and meshing packages (ANSA).
• Experience with measurement hardware (e.g., flow meters, NI, FLIR).

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver high quality computational fluid dynamics models for design iterations.
• Mentor the team on CFD approaches and deliver accurate simulation models.
• Verify fluids performance with established test methodologies and develop new tests.
• Lead the fluid and thermodynamics discipline for assigned projects from start to finish.
• Deliver outputs within timelines and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Communicate progress, risks, and final sign-offs to the delivery team.
